La Plata Family Medicine welcomes Dr. Justin Possner, Dr. Kristin Ault and Terri Allen to its team.

Possner is a board-certified family physician and has been practicing since 2010. He works with geriatric patients, patients with complex medical needs and patients seeking to lose weight. He is an advocate of preventative medicine and using the fewest prescription medications possible.

Ault will join the team in September. She focuses on providing whole-person care for all ages and improving patients’ overall health. She enjoys working in women’s health, preventative care, minor procedures and the mind-body experience. Ault is board certified in family medicine and completed her residency at University of Colorado.

Terri Allen is a psychiatric nurse practitioner and is available via telemedicine. She uses a holistic approach to psychiatry and is board certified in psychiatric and family practice. She served in the United States Army, and is trained in medication assisted therapy, employee assistance program, family practice and oncology. She is experienced in treating anxiety, depression, drug addiction, Attention Deficit Disorder, eating disorders, personality disorders and grief counseling.
